Both the standard route and the south face/couloir route overlap at the end, and there are three short cliff bands (10-15') that go at Class 4 each. This is one of them. It's said you can hunt around and find Class 3, but the exposure isn't bad on these pitches, so why bother?
Just make sure you carefully test every hold before fully engaging. The rock here is decent by Absaroka standards, but it is still breccia, known for its portability.
