Peak 8827 - 7.10.2015

These images are from a climb of Peak 8827 in Glacier National Park on July 10th, 2015. Peak 8827 is one of two unnamed peaks along the ridge between Mount Siyeh and Mount Allen, the other being Peak 9175. With a rise of only 307 feet and an easy class two route to the summit, Peak 8827 is pretty unremarkable as a mountaineering objective. However, do to its location between the north face of Mount Siyeh and the east face of Mount Gould, it offers very unique and spectacular summit views. I accessed the west slopes from the Piegan Pass Trail, starting my day at Siyeh Bend and finishing it in the Many Glacier Valley.
