Walker Ridge Road to Cold Spring Mountain

Decided to get out over the weekend.  The Walker Ridge Road northeast of Clear Lake is a marvelous drive with great views and plenty of places to stop and hike about. My second drive up to Cold Spring Mountain after this time last year. A pretty clear winter day with snow on the higher Mendocino peaks. Across the Central Valley the Sierras' Crystal Range next to Tahoe  was recognizable in it's length. Sutter Buttes were brooding down on the flats beyond Interstate 5 plus Shasta and Lassen were also visible.
