Overview
The Wildes Mannle is a very nice hiking mountain in the Oetztal. From the village of Vent to the summit it is a very nice walk up with a little scramble in easy rock, so it can be climbed by everybody. From the summit you have a great view over the oetztal and famous mountains like the Wildspitze, Hintere Swarze, Weiskugel and more. You look down to the Rofenkarglacier and the Breslauer hutte. On nice days a lot of hikers come to Vent to climb the wildes mannle.
Getting There
The nearest airport is in Innsbruck.
By train from Innsbruck take te train to the Oetztal bahnhoff. From there you go by bus to Sölden. There you change bus to Vent.
By car from Innsbruck you take the A12 direction Bregenz. After 45 km you follow Oetz/Oetztal and all the way into the valley to Sölden. From there all up to Vent.
Youre start is at the Village Vent. From there you can follow the marked path up, or take the cablecar to Stablein at 2356 to spare some time. The route is marked with signs and red spots. On the scramble parts in the rock are fixed ropes to make it easy.
From the summit you can go down by the same way or you go across down to the mitterkar, up to the breslauerhutte en from there the way down to Vent.

When To Climb
The best time is from spring to late summer ofcourse, but with a little snow its still a nice hike.
Camping
The nearest campings are in Solden, a little down in the oetztal, in Vent there are some nice Hotel. You can park very wel in Vent.
