Woods Trail

Approach

Start from the Hicks Rd entrance in the "Getting There" section on the main page.

Route Description

Start hiking on Woods Trail. Stay on it for bout 6.5 miles and you will reach El Sombroso. Be sure not to accidently end up on Barlow Rd because that will never get you to the summit.

Essential Gear

Water and some good hiking shoes are preferable when attempting this. Bring more than one bottle because you get to some fairly steep sections on the trail.
