Cleveland Mt Snow Shoe II

Decided at last second snow might be perfect and partly cloudy so not too warm. Got caught in the Sultan Eastbound traffic mess around 11:30 then guy behind slamed into me! 4 car chain rear ender. Decided damage not enough to forget about climb so tossed my phone number to someone and took off (Not Smart) anyhow - Hiking by 12:05PM and decided to try cutting switchbacks since way late. Obvious trail over creek at end of first road swithcback. Leads to mine in hundred ft or so then obvious uphill. Not nearly as overgrown as I expected so pretty quickly got past 3 LONG road switchbacks. Hiked the shorter RD switchbacks and started cutting them again when obvious. Snow at about 3,000 but easy walking so didn't need snowshoes until past the little rock ridge. Went west around rock ridge and found the neat little gap next to cool rock cliff face. Snow Shoe to summit uneventfull. Rock ridge at summit with 2 benchmarks 1937 Clevlnd. Spent an hour on summit in warm breeze with amazing views although a little cloudy. Should have marked were to cut RD switchbacks because once your out of the snow you can't see the dirt rd from above so ended up getting tortured by the bottom 3 long ones (never again) also shouldna left accident B4 WSP got there. He called me while on the Mt. and was not pleased! Cleveland is Cool if you like having a trail to yourself. Top rock is high enough for unobstructed view. Only 4.5 Hours up this time!
