Wind River Range, Take 3

Bill and I ventured into the Winds for an 8-night / 9-day trip, late August 2014. The plan was to head into the fabled east side via a saddle above Timico Lake, but the weather turned fickle on the two days when we needed it to cooperate. Instead, without crossing the divide, we headed south over another saddle. This may have turned out to have been just as difficult, putting us in the area around Europe Canyon.

This was my third trip into the spectacular Winds. This time, thanks to Bill, not part of a sub-eleven foot group.
