Overview
Lammersdorfer Berg is on of summits of mountains rising above Millstater See - often calls Milstatter Alpe, named of village at bottom of this mountain. Its part of Nockberge - that is why we cant find there steep slopes, vertical walls or rocky gullys. Its mostly covered by woods, higher - fields of rhododendrons and alpine meadows. Near summit we can visit Granattor -
Garnet Gate - a gateway filled with tons of garnets, beacuse this area is the largest deposit of this mineral in the world.

Getting There
I think that big majority comes here using toll road to Lammerdorfer Hutte - at 1650 m a.s.l. Is starts in village Lammersdorf. We can get there from Tauern Autobahn - exit Seeboden or one of many leading to Milstatter Lake from SE. Road to Lammersdorfer Hutte is narrow, that why its good, to drive there early.
Route
Trail to summit is very easy, about 1 - 1,5 hour of ascent, by the way we will meet cows or other cattle animals. During summer season many people is hiking there. Trail ia a part of :Weg der Liebe" (Path of love). We
can go on a longer journey, collect a few peaks above 2000 meters - for example toward Tschiernock.
