Overview
Danish Knoll is one of several short tree-covered knolls on the high flats of the Wasatch Plateau. Each is easily hiked within an hour and make for nice family outings from Skyline Drive.
Getting There
Take State Road 31 (Ephraim Canyon Road) east from Ephraim 8-9 miles and turn right (south) on Skyline Drive and drive 1.3 miles before taking a left (southeast). Continue for another mile to the saddle west of Danish Knoll.
Route
From the typically muddy saddle, hike straight for the peak up the ATV trail. Veer to the south of the trees until an opening is found to the summit area.
Round-trip Distance: 0.9 miles
Elevation Gain: 161 feet
